About Sean Shelton

Sean Shelton has been involved with technology since he was 13 years old, receiving his first computer with tape cassette storage for his birthday. Early in his government career he was cited for automating tasks that had never been handled electronically before. In 1987, he created his first Hypertext Document and was one of the first "real" webmasters when in 1993, he took over web development for the CyberCity online community.

He started teaching when in the army, but began his technology education career with Intuit, makers of Quickbooks and Turbo Tax, Erol's Internet (Formerly Erol's video of Blockbuster Fame), then RCN who purchased Erol's. There as the Head of Education, he was able to develop online systems for education and productivity, including creation of some of the first online classes for the University of Virginia.

He now serves as technical consult to the NBTA Hotel committee and oversees the day to day operation of Uversa's technical departments.

Some of Mr. Shelton's aspirations are not technology related however, he is a serious amateur photographer and posts much of his work online at Boldsteps.com as well as on the Uversa site.
